Who Are We
Shiny Side Up is a disabled Veteran owned business in Florida. With over 35-years of military service, we decided it was time to hang up the uniforms, put away our boots, and hit the open road. We strive to be your most trusted and loved Airstream modification site; a place you can turn to for help and guidance. Our goal is to provide our fellow campers, backpackers, and travel enthusiasts with real-world hands-on reviews of products. We mod, we tinker, we break stuff (on purpose… sometimes), and we tell you if that overpriced gadget is actually worth your propane money. From Airstream upgrades to brutally honest product reviews, we’re here to help you trick out your rig without losing your mind – or your wallet.
Our Background
Sahar and Daniel have a combined total of 10 combat tours in Iraq, Afghanistan, etc. With over 35-years of military experience, Sahar and Daniel know the importance of leadership and delivering a best-in-class service while accomplishing the mission and providing honest feedback. In 2019, Sahar and Daniel started 21 Vets, Inc., a Florida-based nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing Veteran suicide rates to those diagnosed with post-traumatic stress, traumatic brain injury, and military sexual trauma. Helping others and giving back remains a cornerstone of our morals.
